Who We Are

Life Church was planted in September of 2000. The first service was held in the Germantown High School auditorium with a handful of people in attendance. Those faithful few began to pray and reach their community for Christ. In November of 2002, Life Church welcomed Pastor Aaron and Tammy Cole as the Senior Pastors. We began to grow rapidly, and as a result, expanded our facilities, staff, ministries and services in a renovated leased space.

In 2006, we were able to purchase the shopping center that we were leasing on the corner of Mequon Road and Squire Drive in Germantown. We expanded from a storefront shopping center to a 12-acre campus with a focus on reaching Germantown for Christ.

Our heart has always been to reach lost people around the corner and around the world. With this in mind, we announced the launch of an Appleton campus in early 2014. This was the first campus that was part of a vision to open many campuses throughout the greater Wisconsin area.

In January 2018, Pastor Aaron presented a vision to launch efforts to serve the inner-city of Milwaukee and establish a beachhead for our outreach endeavors. Within a few weeks, that vision became a reality when we were given a facility. In February 2018, Life Church-Milwaukee Campus was launched. This amazing new facility would serve not only as a building to hold church on the weekends but also as an outreach facility. On Easter of 2018, Robert Bell joined our staff as the Campus Pastor.

In March 2019, we were given an opportunity to move into the heart of Brookfield. This 10-acre campus, located on N Calhoun Road, included a facility that was fully equipped with an auditorium, a full-court gym, and classrooms.

In August 2020, we purchased a permanent location in the heart of downtown Appleton.
